Language Instruction for Newcomers (LINC) Program – offered by Collège Nordique
LINC is a free language-training program where you practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Two full-time teachers offer morning, afternoon, and evening classes in Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels 1 to 8 (beginner, intermediate, and upper intermediate stages). Classes are offered by Collège Nordique. The lessons focus on practical, everyday language to help you live and work in Canada.
LINC is the only English program accepted by the Government of Canada for citizenship. It is a great way to meet people, prepare for a new job, and make connections in Yellowknife.
